Welcome to Argentina! I am so happy to finally be in South America. I left Rabat, Morocco on July 12th and arrived in Mar del Plata, Argentina on July 13th. The total flight derivation was 29 hours and 15 minutes, with three stops in Paris, Madrid, and Buenos Aires. I travelled 9585.69 kilometers and the flight cost $2079.90. I was very fortunate to be able to spend 3 full days in Mar del Plata. While visiting I explored Aquasol Water Park, Fuente Aguas Danzantes, and Centro Cultural Villa Victoria Ocampo. The Aquasol Water Park is the home to emormous water slides, a swimming pool with waves, and is so spacious that the whole family could enjoy it! Aquasol is the only water park in Argentina...in fact it is the largest one in South America! The water was so clear and I truly felt like I was in the Caribbean!

The Fuente Aquas Danzantes is a water fountain that follows the beat of music to create movements with the water! It was quite the site to see.

Centro Cultural Villa Victoria Ocampo is now a cultural centre that features changing art and cultural exhibits. I visited this sight during late afternoon and was lucky enough to see a local musician preform. I also enjoyed a nice cup of tea at a cute little tea house in the garden.

I stayed at the Sheraton Mar del Plata Hotel. I was very excited when I found out that my room had an ocean view. It was a lovely, modern hotel, with good looking rooms and a well decorated entrance. It was also very nice to be able to spend a couple of hours at the spa and relax. After such a busy vacation it was nice to have some downtime. A restaurant that I really enjoyed was called the 'La Marina'. It was the best place by far in Mar del Plata for those who like fish. The fish was so fresh; I have never tasted anything like it! I received a fish cream to start my meal and it was amazing. The next place I will visit will be Asuncion, Paraguay! I am so lucky to have been given this opportunity to travel so much.
